Breakfast bags for school aged children in need

Many families that rely on in-school breakfast programs struggle to provide nutritious morning meals during school breaks. Identifying this need, we applied for, and received, from Long Island Community Foundation (LICF) a grant to offer Breakfast Bags to our clients with school aged children. This grant has enabled us to expand our existing Lil Hands program that provides school snacks, by meeting even more of the needs of families with children.

Our Long Island Lending a Helping Hand Breakfast Bag program will be available for the summer months beginning Tuesday, June 20 2023. The bags are available for pick-up at our Rocky Point Center two times each month. A huge thank you to LICF for making this program possible.
